Shopify Challenges: Outdated Design, Weak Identity & Localisation Needs
The existing Lurenci (formerly Furendi) website lacked a professional and premium look, which affected the overall perception of the brand. After being live for several years, the website required a complete design uplift to match modern e-commerce standards.
There was also a need to improve product presentation and create a more engaging experience for users. The brand required stronger visual storytelling on product pages, including better use of images, videos, and structured content.
Another key requirement was to build the website primarily in German, ensuring that the store is aligned with its target audience. In addition, the brand needed a refreshed identity, including a new name and logo.

Shopify Design & Development Strategy
Team Rhino Marketing Consultants approached the project with a focus on premium design and customised Shopify development.
The client selected the Prestige Shopify theme as the base, as it aligns well with drop-shipping integrations. However, the theme was heavily customised to create a unique and tailored experience, making the final website a custom-developed Shopify solution.
The website was built primarily in German, ensuring that all content and user experience elements are aligned with the local audience.
At the same time, we supported the brand transition from Furendi to Lurenci, including the design of a new logo to reflect a more refined and premium identity.

Premium Design & Product Experience Enhancements
The Lurenci Shopify store was redesigned to deliver a cleaner, more modern, and premium look.
A new logo was created to replace the old one, helping strengthen brand identity and improve visual consistency across the website.
On the product page, detailed descriptions were added along with images and videos placed below the main product images, allowing users to better understand the product and increasing engagement.
A “complete the look” feature was implemented on product pages, showing related products tailored to each item. This helps guide users towards additional purchases and improves the overall shopping experience.
A custom section was also developed for lifestyle images and videos, where changing the product image dynamically updates the content displayed on the left side. This creates a more interactive and visually engaging experience.

Engagement & Dynamic Content Features
To keep the website fresh and engaging, an Instagram feed was integrated into the homepage. This allows the brand to showcase real-time content and maintain a dynamic presence.
These features help improve engagement while making the website feel more active and visually appealing.
